General Guidelines for Free Papers / E-Posters / Videos

Each PRESENTING AUTHOR can submit only 1 each of Free Papers/E-Posters/Videos.
-
Not more than 3 co-authors are allowed in a paper/E-Poster/video.
-
All free paper/E-Poster/ video awards will be given to the presenting author only, If presenting author is not a ratified member, that paper/E-Poster/video will not be considered for evaluation.
-
No change in presenting author is allowed during free paper and video semi-final/final sessions.
Guidelines for Papers
-
A postgraduate student, fellow or a consultant should present the paper.
-
The study should have received clearance from the research and ethics committee of the institution, if it is a prospective study.
-
The paper should not have been published in any journal already.
-
The paper should not have been presented for an award at a previous Conference or won an award at any conference.
-
The submitted paper shall be evaluated by judges independently.
-
The oral presentation shall be for 6 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of question time. Separate judges shall evaluate the oral presentation. A maximum of 6 questions can be asked during the allotted time. Answers should be given only by the presenter. No questions are permitted from the audience. Oral presentation shall carry 30 marks.

Prizes will be given to one winner and one runner up.

The decision of the judges shall be final.

All presenters are requested to load their presentations before their presentation time and get a receipt from the stipulated time. No changes will be allowed to be made to the presentations at the last hour.

Presentations will be accepted only from pen drive and cannot be connected from mobiles or the Internet.

Certificate of Paper Presenter and Poster Presenter will be issued for the first author.
Guidelines for E-Posters
-
The E-poster will be displayed on standard 42"(Diagonal) LCD
-
File format should be PowerPoint (PPT/.PPTX)
-
Only 4 Slides to be included
-
The 1st slide should consist of Title & Author.
-
Rest three slides should contain Scientific Matter
-
No THANKYOU slide.
-
All slides should be in landscape format
-
Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static PPT format only.

Design specifications.

The E-poster needs to be created as per the example format attached
- Each slide title should be placed in a title placeholder
- The text should include (most likely as separate elements of the poster)

Introduction, Aim, Methods Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgements
The poster should be self-explanatory. Text should be brief and well organized.

It is suggested that font size of the text should be at least 28 point. The typeface chosen should be a simple and clear one (e.g. Helvetica).

Illustrations/images/photographs used in the E-poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details.
Guidelines for Videos
-
Videos should not exceed 90 Seconds in duration.
-
Videos Ratio should be 16/9 or 1920X1080 pxl.
-
The video should include clear audio narration and good visual quality.
-
VIDEOS will be judged according to educational value, originality, and expert use of the medium.

General instructions to Authors / Presenters of Free Papers
All abstracts are considered equally for acceptance and the quality of the abstract is the single most important factor in the committee's decision. Please follow the checklist to assist you.
CHECKLIST FOR ABSTRACT CONTENT:

1. Registration for the conference is mandatory prior to abstract submission. At least one of the authors/co-authors must be registered.

All abstracts must be submitted online in English language only. Submissions by email, fax, or other means will not be accepted.
-
The title of the abstract must be concise (maximum 40 words), avoid abbreviations, and should not have a full stop at the end.
-
The total length of the abstract must not exceed 300 words (excluding title). It should include 3–5 keywords at the end for indexing.

The abstract should clearly mention:

Objectives of the study

Methodology
-
Main findings
(In hypothesis-based work, idea, discussion, and conclusion may be included.)

Abstracts must be well-written with correct grammar and clear language. Poorly written abstracts may be rejected.

If the analysis is incomplete, a revised abstract must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the conference to be included in the programme material.
-
Authors, by submitting the abstract, grant the Organizing Committee the right to publish it in electronic form.
-
All abstracts will undergo confidential review by the Scientific Committee. The Committee’s decision regarding acceptance and mode of presentation will be final.

Authors of selected abstracts will be informed well in advance.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Each delegate is allowed to submit only one abstract.

The abstract may be submitted for eitheroral presentation, poster presentation, or video presentation.
Please indicate your preference at the time of submission.

The Scientific Committee reserves the final right to assign abstracts as oral, poster, or video presentations,
irrespective of the preference indicated by the author.
